A Night On The Moon

One night on the moon during slumbering wake
A trip to the stars with my love I did take
As we sat on the crest, my love on my right
We fished for some stars on the magical night

As we cast out our silvery lines to the sea
An ocean of stars just waiting for me
To catch one and tickle it, bringing it light
We fished for some stars on that magical night

My love, he did say, and with no apprehension,
"You make the stars jealous, I thought I might mention
The stars are quite lovely, that much is right
But you’re the most beautiful thing in my sight."

My breath, it did waver
My soul, it took flight
As we captured out hearts on that magical night
